Dual Degrees

A dual degree program gives you the flexibility to study two areas of interest at once. The additional knowledge and skills gained give you a competitive edge in the workplace and significantly broaden your career possibilities. Dual programs can also be completed more quickly than two separate degrees.

Students in the Bachelor of Engineering can study a dual program with one of the following programs.

• Engineering/Biotechnology (BE/BBiotech)
• Engineering/Business Management (BE/BBusMan)
• Engineering/Commerce (BE/BCom)
• Engineering/Economics (BE/BEcon)
• Engineering/Information Technology (BE/BInfTech)
• Engineering/Science (BE/BSc)

Course Restrictions for students enrolled in BE Dual Programs

BE dual program students are not permitted to enrol in courses offered by other Faculties where there is an equivalent BE course.  Restrictions vary depending on the major undertaken in the BE.

Exemptions for the other component of your dual will be recorded on your official academic transcript, and once granted cannot be removed or rescinded.
