YEA Engineering Careers Expo

YE-UQ (Young Engineers - University of Queensland) is a non-profit based organisation run by students for students. We are involved in organising student-based events throughout the year, but most notably the annual Engineering Career' Expo held at The University of Queensland. 
 
The YE-UQ Engineering Careers Expo provides an opportunity for engineering students to meet with industry representatives, explore graduate and vacation employment opportunities available, and hear about the experiences of professional engineers.
 
The Engineering Career's Expo provides opportunities for:
  • students to find out what graduate and vacation employment opportunities are available
  • prospective employers to promote their company and employment opportunities
  • students and employers to develop contacts and network

Date:  The YEA-UQ Engineering Careers Expo is held annually at the beginning of Semester 2.
 
Who should participate?
  • Engineering students from all universities, years and disciplines are invited to attend this free event. Past careers expos have been a great success with over 1,800 students attending.
  • In the past more than 90 engineering companies have participated in this event. Interested companies should contact the YE-UQ team for a sponsorship pack.
